Student Club Committee 2007

The General Committee is responsible for the smooth running of the Student Club. It is elected each year by the College residents.

All students are encouraged to become involved in the Student Club by joining one of the committees. This provides a great way to make friends provides an opportunity to organise the types of events you would like to attend.

Social

Responsible for organising social events, including barbeques, trivia nights, footy tipping and tram tours.

Functions

Responsible for organising internal college parties.

Cultural

Tends to the artistic and cultural life of the College, including trips to the theatre, city tours, wine tastings and other external events.

Ball

Responsible for the annual St Hilda’s Ball.

Drama

Runs the annual St Hilda's College Drama Production.

Outdoor

Organises the annual hike, beach trips, rock-climbing and other ‘outdoor’ activities.

Magazine

Publishes “Communitas”, the College annual magazine.

Menu

Attends fortnightly meetings with kitchen staff to discuss menu related issues.

Shop

Responsible for ordering and selling stock in the St Hilda’s Shop.

Ski

Organises the annual trip to the snow

Dinner Swap

Responsible for organising St Hilda’s students to attend dinners at other colleges and for hosting dinners at St Hilda’s.
