Student Wellbeing

Student wellbeing encompasses everything the College does to meet the personal, academic and social needs of the students. This involves recognising, valuing and developing each student as a total and unique person. The College deems that every student matters everyday.

St Hilda's College recognises that student life can be stressful.

Our Pastoral Care Program is given a high priority and greatly valued. The Principal and Vice Principal collaborate in resolving issues related to pastoral care and maintain an open door policy for all students to discuss issues of concern.

The College respects student privacy and is concerned to maintain confidentiality in respect relating to the health and wellbeing of students.

Health and Welfare

Following on from the Pastoral Care Program where professional counselling is required, the Vice Principal assists students to attend counselling services or refers them for external professional assistance.

All resident tutors are trained in Level 1 First Aid.
