Mentoring Program

Coming to an enormous university, in a new city, can be bewildering and create feelings of anonymity.

The community atmosphere offered by a small college provides an ideal opportunity to make new friends and helpful contacts.

The St Hilda's Mentoring Program links all first year students with senior residents, trained in mentoring, to ensure the transition from home is as stress free as possible.

Further personal support is available both formally and informally from college staff.

The St Hilda's Mentoring Program commences after orientation week when all first year students attend a weekend away at the Lord Somers Camp.
