Capital Campaigns

Our Capital Campaigns make it possible for the College to expand both our teaching provision and physical resources.

All St Hilda's building constructions have been made possible by funds raised by pledge donation.

The College's most recent capital project was the Southern Development.
The Southern Development, our new five-storey building, meets the needs of privacy, space and greater independence, while at the same time allowing the College to increase the numbers of resident tutors and hence enhance our academic life.
The building overlooks the playing fields of the University and has been designed to meet the needs of older students as the College adapts to changes to The University of Melbourne, and their Growing Esteem Strategy.

With the improved facilities tailored towards more senior students and the increase in tutor accommodation, we look forward to a positive impact on the student community; increase in our students’ academic success and personal development.
