Library and Computer Laboratory
“It will be hard to make excuses about not having anywhere to study or the right resources...” Sylvania Cheung, College Librarian & IT Coordinator
Up to date learning and computer facilities are available with 24 hour access to the College library and computer laboratory.
The library houses most required texts and a wide variety of supplementary reading for courses offered at the University of Melbourne and other tertiary institions in the vicinity, including RMIT, ACU and Monash University’s Victorian College of Pharmacy.
To assist research, internet access is available from library workstations, or via the wireless network covering the library if students bring their own laptop.
The computer laboratory, with its array of well-configured workstations, provides access to the College’s highspeed internet connection, email and a broad range of software to assist students with their studies. Scanning and high resolution printing equipment are also available. The laboratory regularly updates its software collection, which includes general word processing, spreadsheeting and presentation packages, as well as some specialist graphic design, web design, engineering, accounting, statistics and architectural design programs.
If students have their own computer, they will be able to connect to the college network via a data outlet in their room.
Friendly support staff are available in the Library and Computer Laboratory to assist with technical and research queries.
