Personal Support and Mentoring

“Everyone has their ups and downs adjusting to a new environment.
So it’s good to know that there’s always someone around who has been through the same process.”

Support

Coming to an enormous university, in a new city, can be bewildering and create feelings of anonymity. The community atmosphere offered by a small college provides an ideal opportunity to make new friends and helpful contacts.

In addition, our Mentor System linking all first year students with senior residents trained in mentoring, ensures that the transition from home is as stress free as possible.

Further personal support is available both formally and informally from college staff. You may want advice about paying college fees or dealing with university administration. Whatever it is there’s someone to help or point you in the right direction.
