School Visits

“St Hilda’s School Visit Program starts every July and ends just before Open Day in August. We visit about 70 schools, mostly in rural Victoria.”

Our aim is to provide Year 12 students planning to attend University with information on a variety of accommodation options.

We focus on options in central Melbourne, but also provide information for students hoping to study in Bendigo or Ballarat, and Monash or La Trobe University.

Students are advised on how to select accommodation that best suits their needs and the different features of University of Melbourne colleges. Information sheets are available on the following options:

• private board
• renting with students or friends
• hostels and community style living
• Colleges at the University of Melbourne
